Electronic expert, he leaves everything to start his own company, Radio Data Net, in Vodo Cadore, in the province of Belluno. Today, he can count on more than 100 clients.
Proximity operators primarily meet a market need and become crucial for the life of companies that emerge in digitally divided areas. This is well understood by, Gianluca Dalla Bona, owner of Radio Data Net, a Internet service provider born in Vodo Cadore, in the province of Belluno:
Electronic expert, after a past as an employee in a company, decides to start his own business at a very young age: Gianluca is only 26 years old today:
"I realized that there was a lack of internet services in the area. However, the business landscape was rich, and there was a need for someone to support them in their development. For this reason, I chose to leave everything and start my own business, focusing primarily on connectivity services," Gianluca tells Assoprovider.
Your company offers connectivity and internet services on proprietary FWA network, or on fixed network using VDSL and FTTH technology. Furthermore, it provides and assists with IT services for companies, such as internal network management (wired or wireless), hotspot systems, telephone switchboards, servers for management or data storage:
"I started knocking on doors to make my services known. At first, it wasn't easy, but then a climate of trust was established. Today, Radio Data Net serves about a hundred companies," he continues.
All about assistance
As we know, large operators struggle to provide personalized and responsive assistance to their customers. This is a weakness that proximity operators capitalize on to differentiate themselves by offering, on the contrary, excellent service. Gianluca is no exception, and his words clearly show how you are trying to build stronger relationships with customers, precisely with a personalized customer care:
"There has always been a principle, a keyword that has inspired all my activities, and it is timeliness, which means being able to intervene within the day, developing a problem-solving mindset, always having a solution, which is the ace up the sleeve of every proximity operator," he emphasizes.
The meeting with Assoprovider
Gianluca, in his journey that began in 2020, tells us that he later felt the need for support, also due to his young age. He searched online for a trade association that could support him and discovered Assoprovider and its services:
"I was looking for someone who could primarily support me in finding information on regulatory and legal aspects, as well as updates in the TLC sector. This is what I seek in Assoprovider and the reason why I decided to join," he states.
Despite being only 26 years old, he has clear ideas about the importance of proximity operators in the country's economy and advise other entrepreneurs to venture into the sector:
"There is plenty of space to occupy, to make the internet more accessible and to design new services," he concludes.
