The association inaugurates a space to promote the meeting between the historical realities of telecommunications and startups, in the presence of politics represented by Michele Gubitosa (M5S)

Assoprovider Campania is born, the regional branch of the association of independent providers in theincubator and coworking space La Stecca in Torre del Greco. Present at the event were the members of the board of directors, President Dino Bortolotto, Treasurer Matteo Fici, and the project Campania creators, Marcello Cama and Antonio Aprea. 

The event also saw the participation of companies and startups that shared their innovations and potential collaborations with Assoprovider. Also present at the occasion were representatives of the scene national policy, such as Michele Gubitosa (M5S), which has demonstrated its closeness to the demands of telecom operators: 

"The role of independent providers is still crucial today in Italy, where there are entire areas in which the major operators have no intention of investing. I also bring my experience as an entrepreneur and I know well how many companies have been literally saved by the work of small telecom operators.", has explained Gubitosa during the discussion he had with the members of the association.

Gubitosa: "We will work to help small and medium-sized enterprises"

Gubitosa confirmed the commitment, already made during the national assembly in Rome, to closely monitor the requests of small telecom operators, on highly relevant issues such as the "frequency node":

"The meeting in Rome served to listen to the association's needs. This will be followed by other phases in which we will jointly decide on the three most urgent points to be placed on the agenda. Once the points are established, I will advocate for the requests in institutional settings to find shared solutions.", continues Gubitosa.

The first regional house of Assoprovider

Present at the event was the president of the association Dino Bortolotto, who enthusiastically welcomed the initiative marking another historic date for the association:

«This is Assoprovider's first regional-scale experiment, we will work to bring the association to other regions, starting with Tuscany.», revealed Bortolotto, while the treasurer Matteo Fici, emphasized "the importance of the space to foster increasingly close collaboration between the association and local startups."

The Assoprovider Campania project was conceived and developed by two members of the board of directors, Antonio Aprea and Marcello Cama, who want to "grow the association's community with new energy and momentum, in order to increase its influence in institutional settings."

The partnership with La Stecca

The Campania branch of the association is hosted within the "La Stecca" space. The director, Giuliana Esposito, explained the advantages of the partnership with independent providers:

«The space is conceived as a place of cross-pollination and knowledge. Assoprovider will bring its extensive experience in telecommunications and put it at the service of the many young people who have valuable ideas but currently have limited opportunities to disseminate them on a national scale. Assoprovider's network, which includes over 200 companies, will help facilitate the scalability of their ideas.».
