"Only by carrying forward our battles in the telecommunications sector can we protect jobs and create new ones.", explain Antonella Oliviero. For a year, elected member of the Assoprovider board of directors, Antonella is the founder of Consulsat and Labtv. At our "microphones," he recounts the year spent as a protagonist in Assoprovider and what are the upcoming challenges and projects of the association.

A year on the board: an assessment

Antonella shares with us how the year has been as a member of the board of directors of Assoprovider, what were your thoughts and emotions: "For me, it was truly an honor to be part of the board of directors. The atmosphere within the association is unique. There is no competition between us and I have been fortunate to engage with people who have more experience than I do., learning a lot from their advice. It is a choice, that of running for the council, that I would make a hundred times over," says Antonella.

A year lived at 100 per hour

Antonella has been a key figure in a historic year for the association, which culminated with the Council of State which partially annulled the Agcom Regulation on copyright, which risked seriously damaging small independent providers:  "This year's balance is very positive. We arrived well-prepared for the national event in Rome, we have increased our presence in the press and on social media. Improving communication is helping us a lot, now we don't have to spend too much time explaining who we are and what we do», says Antonella.

The mission: the protection of jobs

Antonella tells us what she believes is the true mission of Assoprovider:  In Assoprovider we are all entrepreneurs, and like the many honest entrepreneurs in this country, the purpose of our battles is protect jobs and increase employment opportunities in our territories. For this, we will always fight with greater strength to assert our rights." Precisely to protect jobs, the association needs to grow in the territories. Antonella gives us a preview of one of the new projects that the association is considering for the coming year: "The idea of regional meetings is successful.
