At APRO22, there was also discussion about Black Lists, domain filtering systems, IP, and the authorities' requests to ISPs. In an interview on the sidelines of the event, we discussed this with Alfredo Pasini, Assoprovider consultant:
"Blacklists are available to operators, who are required to block sites deemed prohibited. The most sensitive area is obviously child pornography, where special accreditations exist and very high penalties are imposed on providers who fail to obscure or completely destroy the site. Unfortunately, many of these sites are abroad: it is a continuous but always partial effort, which can only be carried forward if all Proximity Operators move en masse in this direction," explained Pasini in an interview with Enzo Colarusso (LabTv), on the sidelines of the event.
During the event, Pasini also focused on the two guides he authored, "Nuovo Codice delle Comunicazioni" and "Manuale IPS/WISP" published by Consulservice in the OpenTLC series.
