DISOTEC was established in 2016 with the challenging objective, now fully achieved, of becoming the Italian benchmark in the distribution of materials for the construction of Telecommunications infrastructure.
Thanks to the expertise and the availability of products from the companies of the NTET group (NTET, OPTOTEC, OEC), DISOTEC is immediately able to offer the range of optical and copper connectivity solutions broader, consolidated, and equipped with all the certifications required by TLC operators.

In 2017 DISOTEC develops its range of spheroidal cast iron manhole covers according to EN 124-2, exclusively dedicated to TLC infrastructures. The manhole covers, thanks to the significant experience gained in the sector, are designed to offer the highest levels of safety, ease of installation, and durability over time. These qualities allow us to achieve qualification as manhole cover manufacturers for the main Italian TLC operators: TIM, Fastweb, OpEn Fiber, and Infratel, etc. Our foundries have been carefully selected, are capable of ensuring the highest standards of process control and product quality, and are periodically monitored through factory inspections conducted by our staff and the Accredited Certification Body ICMQ.
The bold and challenging decision to start production at our Lainate (Mi) headquarters was made in 2018. PEHD minitubes and multitubes in fender or bundle configuration. Progressively, but in a short time, a facility equipped with modern production lines is established, developed ad hoc using exclusive technologies. The production phases are equipped with in-line controls with feedback on process parameters, and all lines are networked according to the most modern industrial automation criteria (Industry 4.0). The quality of the products is finally ensured by precise control of incoming raw materials and the execution of final tests in compliance with the Technical Specifications required by the end customer.
In 2019, with the acquisition of DWT, DISOTEC expanded its product range with a comprehensive offering of 19” rack cabinets configurable according to customer needs, available in a wide variety of sizes divided between two capacity classes and can be accessorized with PDU, patch panel, ventilation units, lighting and everything necessary for a complete setup. Connectivity solutions for LAN rooms and servers are complemented by the availability of Ethernet cables (CPR), jumpers, and RJ45 CAT 5e, 6, and 7 connectors.
During the same period, a warehouse management system is implemented, with an available covered area exceeding 10,000 m2, using locations and barcodes. All loading and unloading operations are carried out using barcode reader terminals, and the picking phases are guided by picking lists; these measures allow us to achieve increasingly faster internal order transit times and virtually error-free operations.
In 2019, we also added to our product portfolio the splicing and measurement equipment (OTDR, splicers, optical power meter etc ) and the construction equipment (probes, looms …..)
The latest news is ours DISOTEC Academy, a highly qualified training service aimed at fiber optic installers and jointers for preparation according to the X Y Z requirements set by OpEn Fiber to operate on their networks. At our headquarters, a training facility has been established, adhering to the OpEn Fiber network schemes, a external test plant (completed, central side, inside the training rooms) that simulates an entire passive optical network, aerial and underground, from the central frame to the user, on which it is possible to conduct exercises and measurements under real field conditions.
Training activities are carried out using tools and measuring instruments produced by the most important international manufacturers, such as splicers. Furukawa, OTDRs Anritsu and the tools Miller/Ripley and ABC that, starting from this year, we are pleased to offer to our customers.
