The battle to reduce the digital divide remains at the center of all Assoprovider's activities.
The issue of the digital divide, with the exclusion of many from the benefits of technological progress it entails, becomes even more dramatic in the era of ultra-broadband.

In conjunction with the national assembly, Assoprovider is organizing a "two-day" event dedicated to Internet Service Providers.
The event will be spread over two days. On the first day, the national assembly will take place with the approval of the financial statement. On the second day, a meeting will be held to address the current aspects of the Digital Divide, in light of the national plans for the deployment of ultra-broadband and the new objectives of the European Digital Agenda. Among others, the Mayor of the Municipality of Naples, Dr. Luigi De Magistris, lawyer Fulvio Sarzana from the law firm Sarzana e associati, and some national ICT personalities will participate.

During the event, "Pionieri della Rete" www.pionieridellarete.it was presented, an initiative that seeks to highlight the figures who have distinguished themselves as "Pioneers" over the past twenty years, and the first awards were distributed.
