In the spirit of innovation: for some time now, Assoprovider has established a partnership with the Algorand blockchain to develop a series of technological projects. On the sidelines of Assoprovider's first Market Place, Marco Caldarazzo, Assoprovider member and Lorawan project manager, shared the latest updates with us.
"Algo WiFi is one of the projects developed with Algorand and involves the creation of an advertising circuit between advertisers and owners of access points, hotspots, or websites. The idea is to overcome burdens and issues that occur with traditional advertising circuits, remunerating views – certified via blockchain – in real-time. We are concluding the testing phase and the official launch is scheduled for July 2022."
But Assoprovider's innovation does not stop here: Caldarazzo tells us about a new project in the experimental phase, OpenIOT, which combines Internet of Things and blockchain.
"There is a natural synergy between these two technologies," explains the Assoprovider member. "And there are already many application examples. Consider Smart Farms, which use sensors to monitor soil, irrigation, fertilization, and so on. Assoprovider is already studying a solution for monitoring air quality in school classrooms: the project is expected to start in the fall."
