Informatica Solidale Onlus was established in January 2013 through the commitment of ICT professionals and the Third Sector, to promote social development and reduce situations of hardship through the use of information technology and volunteering.

Informatica Solidale Onlus was born from the determination to create an authoritative entity that aggregates experiences, makes the set of initiatives visible, and thus brings to a common factor, in a transparent and constructive way, collaboration opportunities in ICT for social support initiatives.

The objective is to create a "bridge" between Companies, Associations, ICT professionals, and the Third Sector, to help both understand how information technology can be important and useful for social solidarity projects.

It is a place of aggregation that adds value to participating partners and those who follow it.
