IPKOM, a historic company in the sector founded in 2003, has its core business in VoIP telephony services, but for several years has been offering a range of other systems designed for providers.
Michele Piccini, CEO of IPKOM, tells us about the CUBO solution, for example:
"This is a platform that enables Internet service providers to also add voice services, for private customers, but especially for other companies. Within the solution, we offer a series of high-profile services: pass-through selection emulation, automatic searches, lines with ISDN, connection with switchboards, automatic backups, and so on."
Among the innovations of CUBO presented at APMPRO22, Piccini tells us about the configuration of a service that allows incoming calls on the landline to be received on a smartphone:
"Let's consider a small restaurateur: with our solution, they can receive calls directed to the restaurant even when they are not on site, using their smartphone as a sort of cordless phone that works anywhere. For providers, the advantage is twofold: in addition to offering an additional service to micro-business clients, they can use an app that self-configures to provide the service, reducing installation and maintenance times."
