"We entrepreneurs can no longer live with this blackmail: companies in difficulty are now increasing, it is time to make important decisions": these were the strong words of Antonella Oliviero, Assoprovider advisor 2022-2023, in an interview with Enzo Colarusso (LabTv), on the sidelines of APRO22, the national event of the association, held in Rome last November 11.

The blackmail Oliviero refers to is that of high energy costs: prices increased by over 400% for Proximity Operators are crippling many companies. Providers are now indispensable throughout the national territory, Oliviero recalls:

"Interrupting Internet services would be unthinkable: work, school, finance, even paying taxes are all activities that require a stable connection. If the Networks were shut down, the State and all other companies would also be in trouble," he continues.

This is why, during the event, he launched the movement I Cannot Pay, sponsored by Assoprovider, which brings together all companies affected by high energy costs in a common battle, to obtain not only attention but also concrete measures from the institutions.
