"We entrepreneurs can no longer live with this blackmail: companies in difficulty are now increasing, it is time to make important decisions": these were the strong words of Antonella Oliviero, consigliere Assoprovider 2022-2023, in un’intervista concessa a Enzo Colarusso (LabTv), a margine di APRO22, evento nazionale dell’associazione, svoltosi a Roma lo scorso 11 Novembre.

The blackmail Oliviero refers to is that of high energy costs: prices increased by over 400% for Proximity Operators are crippling many companies. Providers are now indispensable throughout the national territory, Oliviero recalls:

"Interrupting Internet services would be unthinkable: work, school, finance, even paying taxes are all activities that require a stable connection. If the Networks were shut down, the State and all other companies would also be in trouble," he continues.

Ecco perché, durante l’evento, ha lanciato il movimento I Cannot Pay, sponsored by Assoprovider, which brings together all companies affected by high energy costs in a common battle, to obtain not only attention but also concrete measures from the institutions.
